KIDS ON THE BLOCK is much more than a puppet show. It is a fun and interactive presentation that is well researched and designed to educate elementary school age children about disability awareness. Greater understanding of disabilities and differences helps to prevent bullying.
Learning starts as soon as the show begins. Each skit consists of a scripted dialogue between two puppets, one of whom has a disability and the other asks questions children would like to ask. After each skit and at the end the performance, children are able to ask their own specific questions to learn more.
